Look at those eyes!! How can anyone not just fall in love with this boy. Brad came over last night to spend some time with Nanny and Pap-pap. Slept most of the time...but snuggled with me a bit. I read Moo, Baa, Lalala, to him. (the book was a gift from our media specialist, her favorite 'grandma' book). I don't think he heard a word. He did wake up long enough for me to feed him. Guzzled that bottle down like you would not believe. No wonder he is growing so fast.
When Sarah put him in the car seat to take him home, out popped those wide eyes. I had to grab the camera to get this pic. Before they left the house, Brad was tying to snooze again.
Now on to my other babies, Bear and Tara. Man, for two healthy dogs it sure did cost enough at the vet. Of course shots, flea meds, heartworm test, heartworm med, yadda yadda, adds up. So much for having that credit card paid off.
Its really hot here today. Heat index is suppose to be somewhere between 100-105. I have to work at the stadium tonight so I'm not really that thrilled about it. Luckily, I'm suppose to be selling tickets, well I better be selling tickets, in the airconditioning. I wonder just how big a crowd we will have in this heat. Especially since it is Advertiser's Appreciation night. Hot enough today that I took the summer school students to the gym for recess instead of outdoors in the heat. So hot outside, even the pool does not provide relief, since the water is 90 degrees.
