Thanksgiving 2010

Many things have come to pass and many were not good in the last, almost two years, since I posted last. I'm totally on my own now with nothing but two cats, Wendell whom I have had for 5 or 6 years and Oliver whom I recently adopted. Tara had to be put down in September. I did it before she got as bad as the old man, and I had to get rid of Thor, my beautiful Thor, because he became aggressive, attacking Tara and often leaving me bruised and bandaged. I finally accepted Dave and I were over after waiting for a year for him to "talk" about us. He kept putting it off...I've only seen him three times since last December, and plan on filing for a divorce very soon. I'm just waiting for us to sort out some financial aspects about the house before filing.

I'm working on my doctorate. Got a new job. And there are many things I am thankful for.

First of all, my family, including my newborn Grandson,Erik, who is just three months old. I'm thankful for my new job that took me away from the toxic environment I was working in. I'm thankful that Dave is gone...if I think back things weren't always all that great. I'm thankful that God has provided a way for me to make it on my own. I'm thankful that now I can post anything I want on this blog and not worry about what anyone has to say.

There are many more things I am thankful for. Too many to list.

I just thank God, for giving me a new life, new hope, and a new day every morning to make mistakes or make wonderful.
