Christmas number two was celebrated at home with Chad, Sarah, Brad, Andy, Dave and I. We missed having our new daughter-in-law here, but we tried to make the best of it for Andy. I did not cook nearly as much as Jessica did, but we did enjoy each others company.
We played board games after dinner. Well, we played Monopoly. Sarah and I quit early and let Andy and Chad battle it out. Then we played a few games of Uno, WARNING, Sarah cheats!!! Not really, she is just sooo lucky at that game. Even when we play with "Blake" household rules. Then we taught Sarah how to play Skip-bo. Guess who won again???? Not I. Told you, Sarah cheats...hehehe.
Brad enjoyed his play gym that Sarah's mom bought him. We set it up in the livingroom and he had a ball playing in it. Or should I say eating it. He is at that age where everything goes into his mouth. Even my soft cuddly cow (Sarah always seems to find the softest stuffed cows, I love them). That is alright, Nanny will spoil him and let him play with all my cows. Brad now puts his feet in his mouth. Of course once I got the camera, he stopped. I did get this picture of him and with Chad. Look at father and son. Brad is a little Chad, especially when Chad was that age.
My next post will address my return to the redneck side of my life. Can't you just wait to read it!!
